Metal Arts Group has been the world's largest source of Northwest Coast
Native Art Jewelry Since 1895. Their collection represents the largest
collection of its kind in the world. It represents their efforts to
preserve and pass on the Northwest's native culture and art forms. For
over a century they have worked with the top Northwest Coast native
artists from many tribes including the Tlingits in the northern reaches
of Alaska, down through the Haidas and Tsimshians of the British Columbia
coast and south to the Salish and Chinook tribes of the Puget Sound
region. They work closely with the individual artists to assure the
authenticity and quality of each piece throughout design and hand production.
Their hand-crafted pieces are sought after by collectors worldwide and
are carried by such prestigious institutions as the Smithsonian Institute
in Washington D.C., and the Museum of Natural History in New York to
supplement their Northwest Coast exhibitions. This truly reflects the
timeless quality and lasting value of each piece.
Ye Olde Curiosity Shop carries a full line of Metal Arts Group's sterling
